How Child Protective Services Enable Abuse
Child Protective Services was set up to solve a problem, but it’s only become a place for the hell-bound. See the cyclical nature of the abuse it promotes.
It's no secret that Child Protective Services (CPS) is flawed. It encourages abuse and nurtures perpetrators. If not for these hell-mongers, the son of the Woman in the Woods and the Reaper would be under her care, not his abusive beast of a biological father.
Don't believe us? Here are some real-life examples of how CPS enables crimes against children.
The Menendez Brothers
All those millions the Menendez Brothers' father and rapist owned helped him avoid detection until the roles were reversed; the brothers seemingly snapped and killed their parents. As the story of the murders broke, everyone thought they had done it for the family fortune.
However, the real reason had everything to do with the brothers' distrust of the system: their hand was forced by their parents, who had threatened to expose them just days before their gruesome death.
If the CPS were good at what they did, we wouldn't have two beautiful yet unloved children forced to live years with their perpetrators and see nothing short of murder as an end to an abusive life that was years in the making.
The Gangsters
They say the system is rigged against black people, and they're right. While CPS put the Menendez Brothers through the wringer with its neglect, the African American community might be its biggest victims.
Racial bias or otherwise, it's those who aren't doing their jobs at the CPS that make gangsters what they are in the first place. Some become amazing rappers while others fall through the prison pipeline, destined to a life over which they have as much control as the next abused child.
Eurydice Hazzard
Eurydice Hazzard experienced an abusive upbringing that went largely ignored by CPS. She had documented one such story from when she was a teenager and beaten by her father to the point of needing medical care.
When she went to the hospital, her mother told her to say she fell before CPS entered the room. Upon doing as asked, CPS didn't even blink an eye. They took her word for it and left her to an abusive life with the same devil but a different beast from a different time.
